MINERVA HALLOWEEN TRICK OR TREAT, PARADE & COMMUNITY COSTUME JUDGING

The Minerva Rotary Club will, once again, be sponsoring the Halloween activities for the Minerva community. Trick or Treat will be held on Thursday, October 31, and take place anytime between 4:30 pm and 6:30 pm.
The Annual Halloween Parade will begin at 6:45 pm. Line-up for the parade will begin at 6:15 at the Salvation Army Depot parking lot. No registration is required. All businesses, organizations and associations, school and ball groups, etc. are welcomed and encouraged to participate. Additionally, everyone dressed in costumes is also welcomed and encouraged to participate, giving them an opportunity to display their costumes to all the community.
The Annual Community Costume Judging Party will take place at the Minerva Community Building located at 620 E. Line Street. Doors open at 6:45 pm. Categories for judging will be Scariest, Prettiest, and Most Original, with groups divided by age and/or grade. Judges are members of the Minerva Rotary Club, with a special “Presidents’ Award” granted to the Overall Best Costume and a special award given to the Best Overall Group. Complimentary refreshments are served by members of the club.
